Dear friends of violin,
I am pleased to announce that we have received 65 applications for the 63rd Kocian Violin Competition, that is this year happening online. For the title of laureate will compete 25 violinists from Czech Republic with students from another 14 countries: Poland, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Serbia, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Mongolia, USA and Japan.
I believe that we are going to witness some remarkable music performances in May, albeit only via video recordings.
I wish all of you goold luck with preparations for the competition.
