Jak konkr\u00e9tn\u011b prob\u00edhala sout\u011b\u017e v roce 2021?<\/b><\/p>\n
Po roce 2020, kdy se nekonalo t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 nic, jsme si v organiza\u010dn\u00edm t\u00fdmu \u0159ekli, \u017ee sout\u011b\u017e v roce 2021 rozhodn\u011b uspo\u0159\u00e1dat chceme. V lednu t\u00e9ho\u017e roku jsme rozhodli o distan\u010dn\u00ed podob\u011b sout\u011b\u017ee, co\u017e se nakonec uk\u00e1zalo jako \u0161\u0165astn\u00e9 rozhodnut\u00ed, proto\u017ee je\u0161t\u011b v kv\u011btnu byl sv\u011bt sev\u0159en\u00fd pandemi\u00ed a nebyla jin\u00e1 \u0161ance, jak Kocianku uspo\u0159\u00e1dat.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Distan\u010dn\u011b znamenalo na d\u00e1lku, tedy na z\u00e1klad\u011b zaslan\u00fdch videoz\u00e1znam\u016f. S p\u0159edsedou poroty jsme ro\u010dn\u00edk definovali jako v\u00fdjime\u010dn\u011b jednokolovou sout\u011b\u017e pro v\u0161echny kategorie, p\u0159i\u010dem\u017e povinn\u00fd program mohl b\u00fdt nato\u010den\u00fd v jednom z\u00e1znamu a voln\u00fd program ve druh\u00e9m z\u00e1znamu. Porotci si v p\u0159edstihu vyslechli sout\u011b\u017en\u00ed sn\u00edmky ka\u017ed\u00fd u sebe doma, a pot\u00e9 jsme se spojili prost\u0159ednictv\u00edm videokonference k z\u00e1v\u011bre\u010dn\u00e9mu jedn\u00e1n\u00ed poroty.<\/span><\/p>\n O online sout\u011b\u017ei m\u00e1me tendenci mluvit sp\u00ed\u0161e negativn\u011b, je ale n\u011bco, co se loni uk\u00e1zalo jako velik\u00e1 v\u00fdhoda a p\u0159\u00ednos?<\/b><\/p>\n Z m\u00e9ho pohledu je p\u0159\u00ednosem zku\u0161enost, \u017ee p\u0159es r\u016fzn\u00e9 komunika\u010dn\u00ed platformy zvl\u00e1dneme nouzov\u011b vyu\u010dovat (anebo sout\u011b\u017eit \u010di koncertovat) na d\u00e1lku. Lo\u0148skou nutnost\u00ed nato\u010dit sout\u011b\u017en\u00ed sn\u00edmek si sout\u011b\u017e\u00edc\u00ed tak\u00e9 alespo\u0148 osahali praxi s nat\u00e1\u010den\u00edm. I to se jim do \u017eivota bude hodit. V\u00fdhodou pro porotce byla mo\u017enost pustit si videoz\u00e1znam opakovan\u011b a k jednotliv\u00fdm sout\u011b\u017en\u00edm v\u00fdkon\u016fm se vracet a porovn\u00e1vat je.<\/span><\/p>\n P\u0159esto po\u0159\u00e1d sly\u0161\u00edm, jak je dob\u0159e, \u017ee se kone\u010dn\u011b op\u011bt osobn\u011b setk\u00e1v\u00e1me v \u00dast\u00ed nad Orlic\u00ed. Absence osobn\u00edho setk\u00e1n\u00ed, ochuzen\u00ed o pro\u017eitek koncertn\u00edho vystoupen\u00ed \u010di nemo\u017enost sd\u00edlet osobn\u011b z\u00e1\u017eitky a zku\u0161enosti jsou v\u0161ak st\u011b\u017eejn\u00ed fakta, kter\u00e1 jako negativa st\u00e1le p\u0159eva\u017euj\u00ed nad v\u00fd\u0161e zm\u00edn\u011bn\u00fdmi pozitivy.<\/span><\/p>\n Organizace tak velk\u00e9 akce jist\u011b nen\u00ed jen tak, s \u010d\u00edm m\u00e1 organiza\u010dn\u00ed v\u00fdbor p\u0159i po\u0159\u00e1d\u00e1n\u00ed prezen\u010dn\u00ed sout\u011b\u017ee nejv\u00edce pr\u00e1ce?\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n Naplnit v\u0161echna p\u0159edsevzet\u00ed, \u00fakoly a z\u00e1vazky, kter\u00e9 si p\u0159ed vyhl\u00e1\u0161en\u00edm sout\u011b\u017ee dal. To znamen\u00e1 uspo\u0159\u00e1dat sout\u011b\u017e i festival tak, aby se tu host\u00e9 \u2013 a pro m\u011b p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm sout\u011b\u017e\u00edc\u00ed houslist\u00e9 \u2013 skv\u011ble c\u00edtili. Aby se jim sout\u011b\u017e l\u00edbila, aby si u\u017eili p\u0159\u00e1telskou atmosf\u00e9ru, aby si ze sout\u011b\u017ee odn\u00e1\u0161eli milou zku\u0161enost. Jedn\u00e1 se i o zaji\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed z\u00e1zem\u00ed pro sout\u011b\u017e\u00edc\u00ed, a t\u00edmto d\u011bkuji Z\u00e1kladn\u00ed um\u011bleck\u00e9 \u0161kole Jaroslava Kociana za spolupr\u00e1ci, zaji\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed cen, p\u00e9\u010de o odbornou i d\u011btskou porotu, spolupr\u00e1ce se sponzory, p\u0159\u00edprava doprovodn\u00e9ho semin\u00e1\u0159e pro u\u010ditele, sout\u011b\u017en\u00edho orchestru apod. T\u011bch bod\u016f je hodn\u011b, ale organiza\u010dn\u00ed t\u00fdm funguje, ka\u017ed\u00fd \u0159e\u0161\u00ed svoji parketu.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Kte\u0159\u00ed konkr\u00e9tn\u00ed lid\u00e9 se pod kolonkou \u201corganiza\u010dn\u00ed t\u00fdm\u201d ukr\u00fdvaj\u00ed? Bez koho by se tato sout\u011b\u017e nemohla uskute\u010dnit?<\/b><\/p>\n Vyhla\u0161ovatelem sout\u011b\u017ee je m\u011bsto \u00dast\u00ed nad Orlic\u00ed, do organiza\u010dn\u00ed t\u00fdmu tedy pat\u0159\u00ed starosta m\u011bsta Petr H\u00e1jek, kter\u00fd je z\u00e1rove\u0148 p\u0159edsedou Spr\u00e1vn\u00ed rady Nada\u010dn\u00edho fondu Mistra Jaroslava Kociana. Sout\u011b\u017e organiza\u010dn\u011b zaji\u0161\u0165uje Klubcentrum v \u00dast\u00ed nad Orlic\u00ed zastoupen\u00e9 \u0159editelkou Jaroslavou Martin\u00e1kovou a jeho pracovn\u00edkem Tom\u00e1\u0161em Fiedlerem, kter\u00fd je sekret\u00e1\u0159em sout\u011b\u017ee. D\u00e1le v organiza\u010dn\u00edm t\u00fdmu zased\u00e1 Lucie Felgrov\u00e1, vedouc\u00ed odboru \u0161kolstv\u00ed, kultury, sportu, cestovn\u00edho ruchu a propagace. No a je\u0161t\u011b taky j\u00e1 jako \u0159editelka sout\u011b\u017ee a z\u00e1rove\u0148 z\u00e1stupce \u00fastecko\u00e9 ZU\u0160ky, kter\u00e1 je rovn\u011b\u017e spolupo\u0159adatelem.<\/span><\/p>\n Mnoho \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edk\u016f se do \u00dast\u00ed sj\u00ed\u017ed\u00ed doslova z cel\u00e9ho sv\u011bta. Co v\u0161e je pot\u0159eba zajistit pro jejich p\u0159\u00edjemn\u00fd pobyt ve v\u00fdchodn\u00edch \u010cech\u00e1ch?<\/b><\/p>\n My jako organiz\u00e1to\u0159i se sna\u017e\u00edme zajistit jim \u0161pi\u010dkov\u00e9 podm\u00ednky pro pobyt v ZU\u0160 b\u011bhem p\u0159\u00edpravy a sout\u011b\u017een\u00ed \u2013 t\u0159\u00eddy pro rozehr\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed, perfektn\u00ed koncertn\u00ed s\u00e1l, zaj\u00edmav\u00e9 ceny, kter\u00e9 motivuj\u00ed k \u00fa\u010dasti, n\u00e1le\u017eitou pozornost, zkr\u00e1tka aby c\u00edtili, \u017ee jsou v \u00dast\u00ed srde\u010dn\u011b v\u00edt\u00e1ni.<\/span><\/p>\n M\u00e1te i n\u011bjak\u00fd \u201cdramatick\u00fd\u201d z\u00e1\u017eitek z p\u0159\u00edprav?\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n Nepamatuji se na nic z\u00e1sadn\u00edho \u010di katastrof\u00e1ln\u00edho. Samoz\u0159ejm\u011b v\u017edy se n\u011bco objev\u00ed, ale to jsou drobnosti, kter\u00e9 se operativn\u011b \u0159e\u0161\u00ed. Zaj\u00edmav\u00e9 jsou sp\u00ed\u0161e r\u00e1mcov\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edb\u011bhy sout\u011b\u017e\u00edc\u00edch, jako nap\u0159\u00edklad zatoulan\u00fd kufr v Amsterdamu anglick\u00e9 houslistky, kter\u00e1 musela odsout\u011b\u017eit v mamin\u010din\u00fdch \u0161atech, p\u0159esto ji to nerozhodilo a kategorii vyhr\u00e1la.<\/span><\/p>\n A na co se naopak z pozice \u0159editelky v r\u00e1mci cel\u00e9 sout\u011b\u017ee nejv\u00edce t\u011b\u0161\u00edte?\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n T\u011b\u0161\u00edm se, a\u017e se sout\u011b\u017e rozb\u011bhne a \u0161kolu rozezn\u00ed zvuk housl\u00ed. T\u011b\u0161\u00edm se na setk\u00e1n\u00ed s d\u011btmi a jejich doprovodem, v mnoha p\u0159\u00edpadech mezi n\u00e1mi vzniklo kr\u00e1sn\u00e9 p\u0159\u00e1telstv\u00ed. T\u011b\u0161\u00edm se na koncert posledn\u00edho laure\u00e1ta s Komorn\u00ed filharmoni\u00ed Pardubice \u2013 to je kr\u00e1sn\u00e1 tradice, kdy se po roce vrac\u00ed absolutn\u00ed v\u00edt\u011bz a p\u0159ednese sv\u00e9 um\u011bn\u00ed. \u017dasnu v\u017edycky, co ti mal\u00ed hudebn\u00edci um\u00ed. Jsou mimo\u0159\u00e1dn\u00ed. Sv\u00fdm um\u011bn\u00edm, ale i jedn\u00e1n\u00edm, vystupov\u00e1n\u00edm a zpravidla i skromnost\u00ed.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cI am looking forward to hearing the sound of violin soaring through the Art School…\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n Interview with the competition director Lenka Lipensk\u00e1<\/b><\/p>\n The motto of this year\u2019s Kocianka is: No more screens, back on stage. What did the competition look like in 2021?<\/b><\/p>\n After 2020, with almost all events cancelled, our organizing team decided that the event definitely will happen in 2021. In January, we agreed on a distance online version of the competition, which proved to be a good decision since in May the world was still in the pandemic\u2019s grasp and there would be no other way for Kocianka to take place.<\/span><\/p>\n The distance version meant that the contestants sent us videotapes. We agreed with the jury chairman on the competition consisting of only one round for all categories; with the compulsory programme being taped on one record, and the optional programme on another. The jury members listened to the records on their own at home, and then we communicated via an online conference to make a final decision.<\/span><\/p>\n We tend to perceive this online competition rather negatively, is there anything that proved to be a huge benefit or advantage?<\/b><\/p>\n I would say that one such benefit is the reality that through various communication platforms we are able to teach (or compete and make music) remotely. Also, the necessity to create a competition record provided the contestants with a chance to gain experience with video making. They can benefit from that in the future. An advantage for the jury was that they could play the record multiple times, they could always come back to certain parts and compare them.<\/span><\/p>\n But I still hear from everyone how good it is to be back in person in \u00dast\u00ed nad Orlic\u00ed. The absence of social gatherings, feelings of the live concerts, and the ability to share one\u2019s experiences are all fundamental factors that still very much prevail over the abovementioned advantages.<\/span><\/p>\n Organizing an event of this size surely is not easy. What are the hardest organizational tasks of the in-person form?<\/b><\/p>\n To fulfil all resolutions, tasks and obligations that we promised to fulfil before the event. It means organizing the event in a way that our guests (mainly the participating violinists) feel good here. We want them to enjoy the competition, to experience a friendly atmosphere, to gain some positive experience from this. We need suitable facilities for this, and in this way, I would like express gratitude to the Jaroslav Kocian Art School for their cooperation, prize arrangement, the care for jury and children jury, cooperation with sponsors, organization of the accompanying seminar for teachers, competition orchestra organization etc. There are many other things. But the organizing team is functional and everybody does what they are supposed to do. I would like to say that working on this competition is my leitmotiv, stretching from the end of one year\u2019s competition to the beginning of another.<\/span><\/p>\n Who are the people behind the term \u201corganizing team\u201d? Who are the essential people for this competition to take place?<\/b><\/p>\n The principal of the competition is the town of \u00dast\u00ed nad Orlic\u00ed, so the organizing team consists of the mayor Petr H\u00e1jek (who is also a chairman of the Master Jaroslav Kocian Endowment Fund Administrative Board). The organization is administered by the Klubcentrum \u00dast\u00ed nad Orlic\u00ed, represented by its director Jaroslava Martin\u00e1kov\u00e1 and its employee Tom\u00e1\u0161 Fiedler, who works as a competition secretary. Other members of the organization team are Lucie Felgrov\u00e1 (chief of the school, culture, sport, travelling and promotion department), and then there is me, as a competition director and an \u00dast\u00ed nad Orlic\u00ed Art School representative.<\/span><\/p>\n The contestants are coming from all around the world. What needs to be done to ensure that their stay in the Czech Republic is comfortable when they come for example from Mongolia?<\/b><\/p>\n As organizers, we try to secure an excellent accommodation and environment in the local Art School during the preparation period, meaning rehearsal classrooms, a high-quality concert hall, interesting prizes motivating them to compete; all in all, we try to make them feel welcome.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Are there any \u201cdramatic\u201d stories from the preparations?<\/b><\/p>\n I cannot recall anything significant or catastrophic. Of course, bad things happen all the time, but they are mere minorities that can be easily solved. However, there are interesting stories coming from the contestants themselves; such as the lost suitcase of one of the violinists in Amsterdam, she had to compete in her mother\u2019s dress later, but that did not throw her off and she won her category.<\/span><\/p>\n What are you as a director looking forward the most?<\/b><\/p>\n I am looking forward to hearing the sound of violin soaring through the Art School. I am looking forward to meeting the children and their guardians, very often we form beautiful friendships. I am looking forward to the concert of our latest laureate accompanied by the Pardubice Chamber Philharmonic; it is a nice tradition, that the ultimate winner returns in the following year and performs. I am always speechless when I hear what these little musicians are capable of.
