Prizes of the 61st Kocian Violin Competition 2019:

  • The prize from the Master Jaroslav Kocian foundation fund for the laureate of the competition: Concert with the Czech Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Pardubice
  • Pavel Sporcl Prize, the patron of the Competition, for one of the best competitors from the Czech republic for an extraordinary music performance: an invitation to perform at his concert 
  • The prize from the Czech National Radio for the laureate of the competition: Radio recording with Czech Radio 3 Vltava
  • Violin Workshop Vladimir Cech Prize for the winner of 1st category: the master half size violin
  • The prize from the Master Jaroslav Kocian fundation fund for the best interpretation of Jaroslav Kocian Serenade in D Major for violin and piano: prize money 15 000,- CZK.
  • The prize from the Bohuslav Martinů foundation for the best interpretation of Bohuslav Martinů Sonatina in G Major for violin and piano, 1st movement Moderato: prize money 15 000,- CZK
  • The prize of Czech Musical Instruments company for laureate of the competition: BAM L´OPERA violin case
  • The prize from Bärenreiter Prague music publisher for the laureate: musical notation purchase in Bärenreiter Prague publisher and Bärenreiter-Verlag Kassel worth 5 000,- CZK.
  • The prize from Bärenreiter Prague music publisher for the laureate´s teacher: musical notation purchase in Bärenreiter Prague publisher and Bärenreier-Verlag Kassel worth 3 000,- CZK
  • The prize from the Master Jaroslav Kocian foundation fund for the laureate of the competition: prize money 5 000,- CZK.
  • The prize from the Master Jaroslav Kocian foundation fund for the winner in each category: prize money 3 000,- CZK.
  • The Nicole Van Gils Prize, Belgium Honorary Consul in Prague, for the best interpretation of Belgian composer at  value 5000,- CZK.
  • Bohdan Warchal Prize for competitors placed first, second and third: violin strings
  • The prize money for the winner of each category and the laureate
  • Invitation for Little prodigies concert on Znojmo Music Festival 2019. For extraordinary performance of young player in 1st or 2nd category (awarded by jury)
  • Frantisek Kinsky Prize, the New Chateau owner in Kostelec nad Orlici, for the best competitor of each category from the Czech republic: a ceremony concert invitation
  • Bohuslav Matousek Price for the best Czech competitor of 4th category:  an invitation to his international master interpretation courses
  • The Prize of Czech Musical Instruments company for holders of 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize in each category: discount voucher for one purchase
  • The prize for the youngest participant
  • All participants will receive a Kocian Quartet CD from the jury chairman Pavel Hůla
