Dear friends of Jaroslav Kocian,
after the closing date for applications, we have 50 people registered for the competition who want to meet at the 65th Kocian Violin Competition in Ústí nad Orlicí. In addition to 20 violin talents from the Czech Republic, other talented violinists will come from 14 countries from all over the world (Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine, Belgium, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Serbia, Israel, Turkey, Mongolia, Japan, Canada and the USA).
The competition will run from Wednesday 3 May to Saturday 6 May 2023.
We will publish the competition schedule in the coming days.
We wish all the violinists and teachers the best of luck in their preparation. We look forward to seeing you in the birthplace of Jaroslav Kocian for our biggest violin festival.
