We warmly invite you to a seminar for teachers.
Wednesday, May 7, 2025, 2.00 pm – 6.00 pm, Concert Hall, Jaroslav Kocian Music School, Ústí nad Orlicí.
The open teaching sessions (masterclass) will be led by prof. Ivan Štraus, Music Faculty, AMU Prague. With advanced and intermediate students, he will demonstrate his teaching methods and explain his principles. The introduction will focus on reading musical notation and understanding compositions.
The seminar will focus on students’ artistic growth, motivation, and methods to sustain their interest in music. Participants will receive a certificate.
Teachers whose students are registered for the 2025 Kocian Violin Competition have free entry but still need to submit an application. Students wishing to consult their repertoire should register as active participants.
